I used to love shopping here, but recently the prices have skyrocketed. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management, but something has definitely shifted—and not in a good way. The store has become extremely junkie and disorganized, making it difficult to find anything of value. For the current prices, you might as well add $10 and buy the items brand new from a retail store. It's really disappointing to see this change.

Larger thrift store in the Rockville area, selling clothing items, books, household items, and some electronic appliances and furnitures. I came here and got a really nice pair of formal (and new!) dress shoes at a reasonably lower price. Friendly staff members. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended!

Very large store with clothing and housewares. The clothing is in decent condition but not the best quality. Brands include Target labels.

Midsized store with clothing organized by type and then size. Fitting rooms available. Housewares section is on the smaller side, there is a wall of books that didn’t seem that organized. There is a separate doorway between the dresses and housewares section that leads to furniture. Note that some higher end items are behind the checkout counter.

As always in thrifting, you never know what you’re going to find, I really enjoyed this set of rooster ceramic and glass decor. Ceramic roosters $8, glass roosters $16, which seems reasonable to me, ymmv.

Without a doubt the cleanest most well organized and nicely stocked thrift store I've ever been in and I've been in thrift stores all over the world. I can't say enough good things about the nice staff here.... they're very helpful and really quick at checkout even though they were super busy.

Great shopping experience and huge place in Rockville. So well organized and a lot to look at. Huge donation bins outside so as not to have to come inside.

Household appliances, books, electronics, and clothes. Very busy place and the parking lot is always full. Staff is awesome and polite.

Rough experience. Woman working the counter around noon on Sunday glared when I smiled and said hi. Maybe she was having a bad day personally. It was strange!

Big positive about this place is that it’s very clean and my family greatly appreciated that.

Sticker shock: All quality men’s shirts were $10 or more. The polos and shirts I could find in the $5.25 section had stains, tears, or non brand company logo embroidery (think a Nike golf polo with “SEARS HVAC” on the sleeve and chest). Pairs of canvas converse shoes were $18 - $20. The clearance rack at Marshall’s has lower prices than this location. Baseball gloves were nearly $10 with prices written in sharpie inside the glove, which is difficult to remove without permanently damaging the glove. DVDs were $5. Blu rays were $7, which was funny to see that the retail stickers on many of the blu rays was less than 9 when they were brand new. Video games appeared to be $3 but many were empty cases or had discs with heavy distress on the readable parts of the discs.

I felt like I was shopping at a TJ Maxx that offered secondhand clothes for almost the same price. I overheard several other customers complaining, “these are prices I could just get at walmart,” and, “aren’t these donated clothes?!”

Maybe if the store had a half off day or some sort of bulk discount like most retailers offer ( for example DXL usually offers $15 off for every $100 spent), then there would be some value for what secondhand items generally command in the open market.

My wife and I were really excited to check this place out when we saw it on our way to goodwill. We came back after our goodwill visit because the store didn’t open until 11am. We really wanted to enjoy the store, and it was very clean, but it was not a welcoming environment and the prices were hard to justify as a consumer of used clothes that were donated to the business. My family loves to buy secondhand clothing for environmental reasons but we never expected to pay retail prices for the clothing. A George brand polo for over $5 used is very difficult to consider when Walmart has the same item new for a couple dollars more. Reading reviews where donators are not being treated properly (lack of tax receipts and failing to honor discounts) makes me feel grossly manipulated even shopping here.

I’m sure there are plenty of business reasons for the prices with the myriad of overhead costs of running a retail location in 2019, but if the majority of the inventory is sourced via donations I can’t see why anyone would expect a used shirt to command $12 in a thrift store. I’m not sure how long the location has been in the community but the store was not busy (the goodwill in town I left at 11:30am was very busy by contrast, about 5 times as many people inside with the same number of staff working as this store). The racks were so full of clothing that even browsing was difficult. I did not see any of the men in the store grabbing any of the men’s clothes I was looking through. I’d suspect it’s a pricing issue but maybe the store received too many clothes from the area’s spring cleaning and that explains the overloaded racks of clothes.

I attached pictures because I know most of what I’m saying is unbelievable. I do not want any offers to entice a return visit as I’ve witnessed reading other reviews with replies from the owner of the page. This is my first and last time shopping here unless drastic changes occur beyond a one time coupon for sharing an honest review of a thrift store. I hope that those drastic changes occur so I can give this store a “five star” review.
