Tyler and Mohammed helped us select the right type of trainers for my wife , but her size weren't in stock , they called another branch & reserved a pair for us to collect ! Fantastic service- thanks guys .

By far the worst sports direct I've ever been in. Tired, dated and also somehow sparsely filled out at the same time. Stock not sorted at all. What a complete mess. Won't bother going in again.

Second horrible experience shopping here. First time round thought maybe bad day but felt like no life or energy in this shop. Staff seemed disengaged and not interested. Wasn’t even busy only 2 customers in yet really poor attitude.

Today the male staff member working was rude to a whole degree. Asked him if I could get size 8 trainers and his response with no emotion and rude tone I don’t want work in shoes and pointed me to the back and find a staff who works in shoes is NOT the customer experience I expected.

Next poor display of attitude was when my kids were running not crazily but as kids do in the shop and no effort to say hello to kids or see if they need anything in a loud again very rude tone

Can you loook after your kids… after I pulled him up on it not so much as a dirty or emotion kind of pulled a face like little teenager. I’m not the type to write poor reviews but was soooo horrified by the experience just wanted to flag. Will be writing official complaint to sports direct also…

Such a good shop and facility with awesome parking in Oldham but such a shame poor staff or management not stamping out this poor attitude and service at the store.

I am a business owner.

People who are writing bad reviews about this SD are the exactly type of people shop owners and businesses hate. Parents with feral kids, people who have miserable life but take it out on staff, petty behaviours and i can go on & on.

I have always found the staff here helpful including the managers and also It’s now better than before as it has its aircon fixed.

Keep up the good work people.

The manager uses 'his discretion' to bring the shutters down 15 minutes earlier than advertised. Be warned opening hours aren't accurate.

Security guard is ignorant and obnoxious. He refused to let my 11 year old in the shop without an adult. Despite the fact I was poorly and waiting outside in the car. The kid only wanted to buy a football. I’m not sure if this is store policy but it seriously needs reviewing. How can you expect children to show respect for adults when there is clearly no respect for children? Why can’t an 11 year old come in to the store to buy a football? We won’t be shopping here again.

Lovely service from Dawn. She had the patience of a saint, went over and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. I was there for a while and she was extremely patient and helpful throughout. Cannot fault her service. Lovely lady and is a credit to her store.
